Since the onset of COVID-19 pandemic, KDKD has been extremely supportive of the Henry County Health Center (HCHC) and has been diligent in posting all of our COVID-19 information as soon as it is released. They have provided Speak Out and Spotlight segments for HCHC staff to update the listeners on the ever-growing changes that have accompanied this pandemic. All of these services have been provided to the listeners at no cost to the Health Center. Don Williams, the on-air personality, has an understanding of the challenges that Public Health continues to face and conducts the interviews with staff in a supportive manner. The production department has done an outstanding job at developing, editing, and promoting the HCHC informational segments.
It is vital that during an emergency, especially a pandemic, that media outlets inform the community in a unbiased and accurate way, and KDKD does just that. From HCHC to Clay and Brittany Radford along with all of the KDKD staff, we would like to say THANK YOU!!
